Nike 6.0 Zoom Mogan 2: Advanced, insightful, multilayered, strategic

The legend of Nike runs long among runners on all levels and so does the shoes. It is for: Nike goes a little further than producing just running shoes; their target remains to revolutionize further the concepts of sports shoes, things that shall propel running as a sport to a global status.

It is thus needless saying how many people drew their first inspiration from a pair of Nike shoes (it’s an impossible task counting); however, narrowing down, we may still succeed guessing the number that Nike 6.0 Zoom Mogan 2 pepped up.

It is not that much required narrating every advanced and insightful technology the Nike Lab bestowed upon it; all that matters is whether it is going to take all that you can give it and still be smiling? All that tech gibberish finally boils down to that single point, so none of that space-age cushioning technology or logic-based motion control explanations are going to cut the cheese.

So here it comes straight: Perhaps nothing even comes close to the board-feel the cushioning of the  mens Nike 6.0 shoes provides. Strictly a man's shoes, the Zoom Mogan have been revamped from the classic Air Mogan, with all the fat trimmed to expose more beef, you’ll never be wondering again regarding your position.

There’s suede, there’s leather and there’s a multi-layered Nubuck upper. This might make cleaning a bit of a problem, but then again, who wants to wear a clean pair of them unless on the tracks or on the board? Dirty ones go better with rough terrains and the likes, so the sparkling clean thing is better left for an increased durability.

The shoes get the name from the Nike Zoom unit. This has been placed at the heel, the same place where the air capsule was at the Air Mogan. Overall, it is a super-responsive fixture despite being low-profile against a lightweight rubber outsole. This one is notable on flexibility without losing on the herringbone traction of its forefather.

But what would attract most is the shape of the Nike 6.0 Zoom Mogan 2. It is incredibly thin. The thinness helps keeping the foot closest to the ground to almost a barefoot feel (without the feet getting pricked, of course). This grants a wearer an aggressive maneuverability for both light and heavy touches, it’s that responsive. However, being thin is just half of the story; the other half rests on the supportive side.

This is a big point the Mogan 2 scores in the realms of extreme sports, such as BMX biking; the other point is the extra layers of material on the uppers, strategically matched to the rubber outsole, reducing weight. But then again, all those make for a fine street-wear too, so chances are you’ll stop bothering about facing the challenges from the park while out for a quite stroll. The smart always does it cool.
